the open world is also amazing, not that being stuck in a mall or Vegas resort was bad but the open world feels much better for me. the DLC is also pretty good at giving backstory to some characters.
The graphics and audio design are fine for the 2013 period (Though I did find the menu sounds to be really similiar to Injustice 1).
The price feels a bit steep for a game that’s now 12 years old, so like the other games I’d recommend it best on sale, but ultimately it’s a genuinely great game well worth several playthroughs, the only real area it struggles in is difficulty, not only on the timer but other areas too, Normal is so easy I didn’t die once and I’ve seen many say the same, Nightmare is a decent challenge with some segments being outright frustrating, but still kind of the better experience since it has some grit to it.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
