Even the Ocean

I'm always interested in stories centered around environmentalism and nature in general, so I enjoyed the main quest very much.

Let's start with the good: I really love the health bar mechanic - the health bar being a task of balancing "light" and "dark" (green and purple, or verticle and horizontal, or x and y) energies instead of just, well, dying is an interesting mechanic and leads to some very clever platforming puzzles throughout the game (so far).

The difficulty ramps up steadily, but it remains fair, especially with the inclusion of accessibility options that allow players to adjust challenge levels or bypass particularly demanding sequences without breaking narrative continuity.

Lush painted backdrops flow in parallax over pixel sprites, bold colors and soft lighting drawing out small details in surreal landscapes.

The soundtrack, composed by Melos Han-Tani, complements this structure beautifully, shifting between calm, reflective pieces during exploration and more focused, rhythmic tracks during platforming challenges, subtly guiding the player’s emotional state without overwhelming the experience.

There is a story mode included as well, in case the platforming aspects are too challenging which is wonderful from an accessibility standpoint.
