The fluid gameplay here is very much what you'd expect from his other games : fun for beginners but not without high difficulty options for shoot 'em up veterans.

I'm not really into the outrageously proportioned women in this game, but the gameplay is best-in-class as far as Touhou-style shmups go.

The only point of contention I could see for newbies coming into this game is the art style... which I find charming (the in-game sprites kind of remind me of pop'n music), but the giant breasts on some characters and overall silly/lighthearted art style might be a turnoff for some people (to me, both of these combined add to the charm).
