Becoming Saint

Becoming Saint (BS) is a simple (not a lot of stats and abilities/modifiers) resource management/real time tactics game where you guide the progression of your character, a future saint (?), in 14th Century Italy, leading a motley crew of misfits to help you to Become a Saint.

This unusual premise immediately distinguishes it from most strategy games, offering a blend of historical satire, tactical encounters, and narrative decision-making that creates a surprisingly unique gameplay experience.

While the graphics are relatively modest compared to large strategy productions, the artistic style effectively supports the game’s themes and helps convey the strange mixture of devotion, ambition, and opportunism that defines the player’s quest for sainthood.

Cherry on the cake, the game is playing very nicely on steam deck :)
