What players think

This shouldn't surprise anyone who's familiar with Paul Robertson or Anamanaguchi's work, but both OST and visuals are phenominal, with characters showing amazing amounts of depth and characterisation in their animations, this extends to the environments which are similarly beautiful and varied across areas.
The semi-open world and RPG elements help to vary its occasionally repetitive gameplay loop, and unique bosses and challenges provide even more variation and fun.
Overall though, goated soundtrack, fluent combat feel, plenty of character choices, and some good beat-em up fun.
- The art is amazing, as is the soundtrack.

- Tribute nailed the Netcode, this game runs smooth with other players online and I didn't experience any slowdowns or lag when I played, this is definitely a massive improvement over the re-release of the first game which suffered through Ubisoft's awful servers and Ubisoft Connect

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
