What players think
The recurring themes across 199 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
You can either play as Frederick or Hildi through the story.
It has fantastic graphics, fantastic music, but more importantly, a huge amount of very well-made puzzles that are fun and satisfying to complete.
All of this is rounded up with a nice soundtrack.
There are never any puzzles that do not fit on a single screen, even within larger rooms, which allows both for easy visual review and contemplation and nice "chunking" of gameplay -- you get potential break or stopping points every 5-10 minutes, as opposed to a gotta-find-the-next-checkpoint urgency.
The difficulty in the puzzles differs from very very easy to hard where the harder puzzles are mostly related to the "second ending" of the game or obtaining gems.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and are not shown.
