What players think
The recurring themes across 254 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While there's only a few, I really enjoy the limited playable characters at release.
The gameplay loop is very simple and easy to pick up.
The art style is what drew me in initially, and the animations are amazing.
Simple but fun turn-based tactical combat.
This game also would be great for multiplayer if the above issues were fixed, but I won't hold that against it.
the game is so chill and charming that you may forget it's a rouguelike on the lower difficulty's. ends up feeling like the cutest turn based rpg with tons freedom to build out your characters. respec freely as often as you'd like and switch your gear around with no constraints. steam deck controls work great. this has been my cozy bedtime game. we'll see how it ramps up as I progress thru more islands and try out the harder settings

Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
