SUGURI

Mechanics are solid at best if a little confusing at first due to the lack of a proper tutorial (Sora fixed this by forcing you to go through one) I figure I'll explain the two most important ones Dashing and Hyper Attacks.

Alongside the ability to experiment with different ideas of what might or might not work with the weapons you chose.

Contrast to sora's darker tone, SUGURI features a more light-hearted story as Suguri confronts the members of the Shifu Brand and tries to reason with them before resorting to subduing them by force, and the story is conveyed very well thanks to Rockin' Android's localization.

Visually SUGURI looks fairly simple but Orange_Juice pulls off some nice visuals along with some improvements from working on QP Shooting!, especially towards the later half of the game, the sprites nicely defined from the colorful scenery, though it can be easy to lose track of where you are in the middle of hectic situations, and the character art still nice to look at for a game from 2005.

Although the sound effects are stock, they do work well with this game, and the soundtrack provided by DEKU especially complements the game's stages.
