Deviator is an ambitious 2D Metroidvania developed and published by Gami Studio, one that wears its influences proudly while building its identity around precision-based combat and reactive gameplay.

The combat mechanics that I've unlocked so far are fun, the charms and abilities are, too.

Beneath its familiar art style and structure lies a clear devotion to the craft of skill-driven design, creating an experience that feels at once derivative and deeply committed to its own mechanics.

Accompanied by a haunting soundtrack of ambient melodies and percussive tension, the presentation succeeds in creating a world that feels cohesive and alive, even when drenched in desolation.

Game looks gorgeous, art if fantastic, works like a charm on Steam Deck with solid 60fps, so recommended.
