The artwork is very amazing and the story and characters that fill the world just layer onto the feeling.

A lot of effort was put in into updating the game (was recoded from scratch, I believe), ALL the scenes were redrawn/expanded by hand to have more detailed textures and have extra detail beyond the original picture in order to play the game in full screen (the originals were tiny, square windows).

I've read some discussions about the game being too hard but honestly I think the difficulty level is perfect because it's so much fun for fans to talk to each other about playing the game again.
