Sometimes you'll get really good cards (high-tier weapons, random chance effects, or strong limited use gadgets) that melt enemies and allow you to go quite far in the challenge mode and I think just surviving really high waves/trying to beat your high score is fun while listening to music or a video in the background (the soundtrack is wonderful).
