The retro charm is exhibited nicely through all playable characters, enemies, levels, menus, and title screens, with the chiptune music serving as a wonderful complement to the overall audiovisual presentation.
+ Music, SFX and the pixel art graphics are very well done and merge together pretty well
I recommend, good playability, amazing sound track and really fun alternative modes.
The co-op modes were extremely enjoyable and I was actually able to beat some levels with people who were new or rusty to platformers.
I can't comment on how fun they are since I can't experience them in their full glory, as the friends I have wouldn't even touch a controller for the purpose of avoiding some spikes and collecting coins, but I imagine that if you have like-minded friends that wouldn't mind giving it a go this could be extremely hilarious on several places.
It has amazing controls, great level design, many unlockables like secret characters and alternative game modes, and even multiplayer.
