Visually, From Glory to Goo leans into a nostalgic pixel art style that is crisp, colorful, and effective at conveying battlefield clarity.
The art style isn't really my cup of tea but in my opinion this game easily makes it up with its fantastic sound design.
For any new players here are some tips: Make sure you start researching early (beaker icon to the left of the building menu), move your commander around without any troops to gain a lot of experience early on, you can hold right mouse button and drag to uniformly spread out your troops.
