What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Inspired by real life letters written during World War 1, Valiant Hearts tells a story about four characters working together to help young German soldier named Karl help find his love in those tough times.
Gameplay wise, whilst this is a puzzle adventure game, there are no really generic puzzles, and they are only puzzles if you think about it specifically when you are playing.
I respect that individual Ubisoft games have had memorable moments, solid mechanics, graphics etc.
The rest of the sound effects are really good too, there are plenty of ambient sounds in each level to really draw you further into the immersion to make you feel like you are actually there in the trenches.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
