What players think
The recurring themes across 246 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
What this game does best is the in game lore/story and world building, which ties into items you find and what you are fighting.
"Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare" is a mild horror game wich is fun, has acceptable graphics (considering that it is from 2001) and a nice story.
I had zero issues running it without changing any graphic settings or modding but it is a known issue buyer beware. controller support seems to work just fine but you will need to map out your controller in game at the start before selecting new game by doing so you will have full controller function.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and is not shown.
