+ Engaging story
By buying this game, you will receive 2 versions of it, the Original and Redux, which offers slightly better graphics.
The Vanishing of Ethan Cater is fully voice acted to an extremely high standard; all of the sound effects are really well made too, such as the sounds of the forest, lakeside noises and other ambient sounds that go unnoticed, unless you actually listen out for them.
Firstly, I found the original version of the game did not run well, with constant stuttering, so I would recommend playing on the redux version which comes with purchase.
I also love the developers' choice of not adding a HUD to the game, as it really doesn't need one.
The game is perfectly optimized and even if i do not have a great computer, I was able to enjoy the game at high details.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
