What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Aspects that appeal to me: Randomly generated levels, progressive game (note it’s not character progression -- you unlock features of the game as you play).
I have all graphics turned up as high as possible and get a solid 60 FPS (HD 7950).
The sound design is pretty smooth though and the art & voice design is alright.
I've played with both the keyboard&mouse and a controller, and this is one of the few games where I actually prefer the keyboard&mouse combo, but this is a matter of preference.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
Should you buy it now?
