What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This has full COOP support as well as Singleplayer capabilities, something that Monstrum missed out on, opting into either one or the other for the 1st and 2nd game respectively.
The gameplay is pretty straight forward - you have some objectives to complete, in order to do them you have to run around and find items to progress, find codes and keycards, tools and items to defend yourself.
Cryo was pretty aight overall — cool atmosphere, solid tension, and some decent visuals for what it is.
This is all well and good for a large coop lobby, but for solo it makes it extremely difficult to maintain any momentum.
Even tho it's only the bare minimun the game will offer at the time of me writing this, it's so promising that I can hardly ever think it will not be even more awesome as time goes on.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
