Cosmic Star Heroine

I liked that it's kept concise and moves everything forward, but don't expect the greatest story.

The story, as I said above, is very much like Lunar or Lunar: Eternal Blue in that there are high stakes and a serious undercurrent, but the snappy dialogue and irreverent banter give the moment-to-moment gameplay a lighthearted feel that balances the darker aspects of the main threat and villains.

The story didn't give me any reason to invest myself in the characters, the combat system was nice but it wasn't enough to finish the game over either.

I would encourage anyone to at least try to play on Heroine difficulty.

You get to meet a wide variety of races and characters that come with their own charm and unique visuals.

The soundtrack (again by Hyperduck Soundworks) is stellar and is chock full of catchy tunes that ooze 80s cyberpunk, with some atmospheric tracks and pulse-pumping battle themes for good measure.
