- Great characters with (in the German dub) some of my favorite voice work.
At the same time, some of the visual and UI updates do work rather well, and it offers the option to switch between the Reforged and the original graphics (though UI elements remain in the updated form).
- As great as music, envionmental sounds and voice work are, there were some clear audio quality and mixing issues.
The inventory system has been tweaked, making it more intuitive to use, and some puzzles that may have seemed obscure in the original have been redesigned for a smoother experience.
In fact when you launch the game, no joke, it takes about 5 seconds to get to actual gameplay almost like it’s coming out of sleep mode.
I played it both on PC and Steam Deck and on both devices the experience was seamless with excellent performance.
