Knights and Merchants

If you like old school RTS and haven't tried K&M ... it's cheap, it's a classic, you'll get 100's of hours of gameplay out of it, and I think it's worth recommending!

The concept is simple, the graphics a little dated, but still good enough, the sounds are simple and your minions make cute little comments when ordered to do something.

With the Remake you also get 3 new campaigns created by players, for players, that are very challenging and not for the feint-hearted which include dynamic scripting and many improvements over the original campaigns in terms of difficulty.

The story is great, the games brings many old feelings and the music still is nice (though not the same as in the original game, which I liked more).

The game’s soundtrack complements the atmosphere with pleasant, period-appropriate music that never feels intrusive.

Coded from scratch, as the original code was never released, Krom and Lewin have recreated this masterpiece, fixed bugs, allowed speed up buttons, a pause button and some new maps and a totally new and improved multiplayer!
