Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

I do think it will pan wonders, because features like expansion packs, variable art styles and level progression, and fan-selected palettes, can become mainstay ingredients for creating newer, fresher titles set in the diverse land of Sequin.

Half-Genie Hero not only excels in new graphics and story, but gives us multiple ways to experience the story.

Integrated graphics worked extremely well at 60 fps, granted needing the newer generation, higher end varieties.

While on the topic of visuals and audio, the soundtrack to Half Genie Hero is AMAZING, easily some of the best platforming music I've heard in ages.

This game is just a pleasure to look at, and the character design is probably the best it has ever been in the series.

Unlike its prequel "Pirate's Curse", which showed us new gameplay elements with the Pirate Weapons only available in that game, Half-Genie Hero goes back to what the original game and Risky's Revenge brought to the table: fun level design that utilizes the magical animal transformations given to the player.
