What players think
The recurring themes across 187 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Fortunately the following levels get a lot more creative, with sadistic ennemy placements (and of course the classic "bosses come back as very annoying regular mobs") and fun gameplay and level design ideas.
The combat system is surprisingly deep for an indie game of this size and generally feels good to interact with.
Each of the two playable characters feels unique in their visual representation and story wise, but in terms of gameplay I'd say that Leopoldo is lacking a proper unique ability.
The visuals and sound design pretty much hit home to the older Resident Evil games, and the story is your typical outbreak of a virus that zombifies humans.
This game is heavily inspired by games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill and you'll notice this from the design to the soundtrack to the gameplay itself (ex: Limited inventory space, item puzzle quests).
