Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered

The gameplay loop, while simple and a bit janky due to how the laser aiming works, is actually quite fun.

The story is a fun romp through hell to save your lovely Paula from the evil Fleming and there is plenty of funny zany moments that happen along the way.

The combat, reminiscent of Resident Evil 4 (2004), was really damn solid at its core, as seeing geysers of blood spew from where an enemy’s head used to be was never not satisfying.

Akira Yamaoka composes the game's soundtrack, which frequently delves into tones and riffs similar to his work on the original Silent Hill games.

Just to note that this port is fairly barebones when it comes to video configuration which I suspect will disappoint some folks but what I can say it runs great on the Steam Deck without any messing around.
