What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Denshattack was somewhat of an impulse purchase of mine after I saw something like 5 minutes of gameplay from one of the creators they put in as bonus content and for marketing (so I have to admit that advertising worked on me, and now I get to have a victorian child tell me I am John Denshattack, which is peak)
The voice acting was also 10/10 and made all the characters even better.
This makes going through the story a joy of discovery.
Visuals – Bright and colourful.
Steam Deck mostly playable but 2nd to last mission will crash when completed.
It simply feels ridiculously fun to play, on the controller you don't need to memorise tricks because you get a feel for the right stick motions after a while.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
