Everything from the racial design, to sound design, to general combination of acceptably good graphics that somehow perfectly meld with a late 90s 4x aesthetic, this game is just really well put together, with just enough balance between the sort of quirky sense of things and humor mixed with enough of a feel for a more serious space opera to make it work.
