The controls are perfect, the sound is perfect, the game is stable and never crashed, and the graphics are simple but fantastic.
The graphics are functional, the music is filled with retro vibes in a good way, the levels are well designed, you’re thrown straight to the gameplay with little ‘story’ getting in the way, the game auto-saves frequently and it doesn’t overstay its welcome.

The grapich and sound design is pretty charming, going for a retro style, but one that seems to be based on old PC games rather than NES games, which is a nice change of pace.
The game was designed to work best with a controller, but I used a keyboard and had no trouble.
