Been having a very good time w/ SQ as of this moment, I think I'm maybe a little less than halfway done with the campaign, so I'll update this when I finish.
The voice acting is pretty solid, but I made sure to turn off the combat voice in the menu bc I have a brain issue with overlapping voices making it hard for me to think and play, so yhanks for this.
- Progression system: there are probably more interesting approaches than shop-based upgrades, but it works well and lets you progress in the areas you care about
I recommend this game on the strength of its central pillar — combat is fast, expressive, and gets better all the time — and the charm of its visuals.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
