Would have worked much better is they stuck to one gameplay style, or just made it a phone game like it was clearly meant to be.
Visually, the game boasts vibrant character designs and backgrounds, staying true to Hiro Mashima's signature art style.
By the end of the game I had only 12 monsters that needed to be researched still, luckily the compendium in the pause menu lets you know what area you will find each monster.
The soundtrack is on point and the backgrounds are beautiful.
