Game's fun, music is fantastic, the writing is great (occasional typo's notwithstanding) PLEASE buy this and give the Shadow Hearts people more money while they settle the suit against their kickstarter manager who embezzled their development funds for the Pennyblood RPG coming out later TwT
- Lots of replayability
The difficulty is just right to provide a challenge without becoming frustrating, and if you prefer something more casual, you can also lower it.
Needs better japanese support for steamdeck (some menu item text becomes blocks possibly due to font used)
The visuals have a nice dark,eerie vibe and the characters certainly feel like they crawled out of some back ally from the 20's.
my first review because this game only has 7 at the moment....came here as a shadow hearts fan and have not been disappointed. feels like Hades with more options and grinding, yes, the difficulty is there. soundtrack, art, story are all fantastic. great content so far for an early access, all in all makes me very excited for future updates to this title and the IP. fans of rogue-lites or shadow hearts should be happy
