How to Survive

Overall gameplay is satisfying, killing tons of enemies is fun, inventory management is alright (not too tedious), crafting is neither too simple nor too complicated.

One shot Escape DLC in particular – idea of it is, creating the most hardcore experience in the game, forcing you going for long time with weakest weapons.

The campaign is playable co-op, and to me was the saving grace.

You can Co-Op the story, this part was especially cool as while my friend was just starting his story I was well into mine and I retained both my stats and all the items on me allowing me to easily aid him in his story.

Challenges and last difficulty add some interesting features to the main game - they worth checking on their own.

The island settings also do nicely, between varied terrain and well done lighting the game's presentation is both beautiful and terrifying.
