Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death

The game does a pretty good job of keeping things fresh with many different level environments, multiple weapons and unique bosses.

Onto the gameplay, you've got all of the Hack & Slash basics handled nicely. 4 weapons, 4 magic abilities, diozens of combos and a simple and easy to follow progression system (you upgrade your weapons/abilities and through that also gain extra health/mana respectively).

Not only that - but the art-direction + technical graphics are surprisingly actually good here, as well.

The voice acting is exactly what one would expect from a game deliberately imitating B-movies.

Marlow's non-stop barrage of action feels fantastic in the controls department with an XBox 360 Controller, playing and feeling very similar to the Darksiders series - which is fantastic!

Sure, this is the most Unreal Engine 3 game ever made, but it runs perfectly on Steam Deck and likely all low-end PCs.
