I want to really like this game since it has a lot of great mechanics, fun co-op play, and my friends and I are really enjoying it... when it works.

I don't in any way care for the idea of having multiplayer in this sort of game, but the prospect of a fun single player campaign appealed to me so I figured i'd try it out just for that.
