The basic plot and gameplay are fairly tied together: Essentially the party consists of people chosen by the powers that be to represent one of each of the 8 elements.
In 2024 I half expect most games being released on PC to have all the variable graphics settings options for every category instead of an on/off button for like 5 general settings.
The music is a nice mix of tunes that call back to the pipes, steel drums and various wind instruments that made Secret of Mana's soundtrack standout mixed in with some fairly typical RPG fare.
Runs pretty well on Steam Deck if you use FSR2 and shoot for a 30fps lock with high detail settings.
