The only negative cons I have with the game is the one special challenge has insanely strict requirements on some tracks, the highly extremely rare track bumps that send you to orbit, and sometimes your friends might get disconnected randomly for no reason, luckily that issue happens mostly before a race starts, so its not a big issue as you can just restart the game and invite them back in, and the DLC characters currently are not voiced with is a bit more understandable but still sad.
The soundtrack is incredibly mid, which is disappointing considering Sonic's history of great soundtracks.
The gameplay itself is great.
•There’s a lot of single player content to enjoy & unlocks to work on when you’d like to take a break from multiplayer.
•Graphics & animations are another spot where it definitely doesn’t quite reach that premium pinnacle.
I was traveling recently and wanted to play the game with friends on the Steam Deck the way I'd play Mario Kart on the Switch, but it wouldn't make it past the title screen in offline mode.
