The best way to describe the gameplay is like a point-and-click adventure with no plot... or colour.
A little more variety would've been welcome when it comes to the objects and backgrounds encountered in your adventure, but for what Epic is, it definitely has the right design to fit its gameplay.
The graphics look alright, the music is okay though there aren't too many tracks and it's not much above MIDI quality most of the time.
The sound effects are funny (such as when you accidentally burn yourself), and the background music fits the game well.
