I've been playing this series since Forza Horizon 4, and I can easily say the core gameplay mechanics are still fire.
The map, physics, graphics, sounds... almost everything feels improved.
Just like the older Forza Horizon games, the optimization is great.
Personally, one of the things I was most excited about was the sound design.
