While the developer’s past titles often leaned into atmospheric exploration and experimental storytelling, this one feels like a full-fledged narrative horror built with clear intent and emotional weight.
I can't say anything you won't expect about the environments, as always they are beautiful, graphics are great and there are some truly terrifying settings and characters (things?)
Other than that, 'Pieces of Me' introduces their most fleshed out story yet with some surprising FOV moments, a bump in graphical fidelity and audio design, and a fun gameplay experience.
Pieces of Me is probably my favorite game from Emika so far, it surpasses all the previous titles in visuals, soundtrack, and storytelling.
