Hazelnut Hex

The game is pretty short, but that makes it ideal for replayability - I credit-fed my first time through just to see everything, and I enjoyed it so much I kept re-trying to try to get the 1CC.

While this game is undeniably a bullet hell game, on normaI difficulty I found it to be entirely reasonable - the enemy shot patterns form clear lanes, and the game almost never tries to overwhelm you.

The art style is pretty, unique and kind of Halloween-y, and I especially love the characters!

The soundtrack also didn't impress me at first but its giddy lighthearted sound of rock n' roll mixed with chiptunes wormed its way into my head with time - it's quite catchy and gives the game a fun tone.

The story is silly and lighthearted, and the characters all feel like they're taken from some long-forgotten cartoon or webcomic - it's enjoyable and unobtrusive as far as those things go.
