What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I really liked the story.
The voice acting is equally impressive, especially for a game released in the mid-'90s when video game performances could range from excellent to notoriously bad.
The dark atmosphere and surreal imagery do a fantastic job of masking the game's low-resolution graphics and create an oppressive mood throughout.
It's a point-and-click adventure game filled with inventory puzzles and word riddles in a similar vein to classic LucasArts adventure titles like Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
