It's been done in a way that feels like outright contempt: sound design, graphics design, and game mechanics are sometimes so directly lifted from SV that it inspires a kind of anti-nostalgia.
The limited connectivity and insistence on at least one belt/pipe/etc between EVERY component (except, oddly, underground water pipes) further hampers layout and factory optimization.
