However, the mechanics are cute, the story is genuinely interesting, and that was enough to keep me powering through the sometimes unfortunate workings of Dotson (or lack thereof).

There is voice acting and ironically it sounded okay, considering how poor the text translations where, I expected the voice acting to be either non-existent or terrible, but I was wrong on both accounts.
