The build options are truly insane, such as turning Bismuth into a melee mage tank with Valiant Heart to generate epic levels of barrier that make you nearly invincible.

So much to explore and experiment with, with all the different combinations of essences and traveller skills; plus they've upped the difficulty scaling so there's a lot of room for more serious challenges — which for me is key to enjoyment and also replayability.

Shape of Dreams is a fast-paced, extremely addictive hack-n-slash roguelite with gorgeous visuals, decent build diversity and lots of modifiers to alter your future runs. it is probably one of my favorite Roguelites in a long time.
