I was so excited to find out Dragon Quest Builders was coming to Steam.
Some, like Dragon Quest Monsters, borrow from the main series, while others, like the Heroes franchise, were hugely popular due to the Mosou-like gameplay.
-Lots of QOL improvements in the PC version, more hp, faster running, more space for items, better graphics etc.
The Terra Incognita mode in the main menu is a sandbox that offers almost total flexibility in what you create, as well as the option to share it with your friends, so those who feel that Dragon Quest Builders regimented style is too much for them might find comfort in that.
Once the mobile version gets controller support, it will be a very close second to the Steam version.
As a value proposition, features, content, technical performance, and more, the Steam version is also the way to go, and it shines on Steam Deck.
