What keeps me hooked is the addictive gameplay.
I like the sound and visual design as well as the setting itself - a down to earth scify setting, where an Autocannon is deadly as it has always been, despite laser n plasma n Big-acid-Spitting-Bug-Things being a thing.
the game sounds great too, weapon fire is meaty when it needs to be. graphics are obviously not the focus but for an isometric turn / tile base game it looks good. so far i had desert, snow, forest "biomes" with either villages, military complex or scrap yard design.
I would love to see a PVP mode but that's probably wishful thinking & not at all necessary for the game to be fun. 2nd playthrough was even more fun than the 1st!
Also runs great on Steamdeck so that's a MAJOR plus in my book!!

Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
