Anach's pros which are also its strongest points are the world they built here, the characters, the places you visit, the worldbuilding here is of the best Ive seen in gaming, theres many inspirations from Matrix and scifi stuff from back then which was also seen in this company's previous work aka the first Deus Ex which Im yet to play, the world of Anachronox is immersive, beautiful, unique and what kept me going on and playing it instead of just watching the cutscenes on youtube, because I wanted to explore the remaining places of this world by myself and I wanted to know where the story was going, the graphics were good of its time, the soundtrack was incredible, the atmosphere was also good, the story starts slow, takes a few hours to build up, then it gets really good, the relationship between characters are spot on, I loved everyone on my party except for the super hero guy, he was just bland and forgettable, the story gets even better at the end of the first half, thanks to a good twist, as soon the second half starts it falls apart, things start dragging down and the game ends with an unresolved cliffhanger where another twist (this one being unnecessary) happens and then we get a sequel-bait ending, to be continued stuff, a sequel that will never come, this just made the whole thing worse which mad me feel that my whole time with it feel unrewarding and unfulfilling after all the trouble and crap I had to endure with the gameplay which is HORRIBLE, it just severely disappointed me that there was no conclusion.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
