What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay loop is fantastic but the game itself isn't optimized well.
Main inventory management gameplay plays like a crunchy board/card game where you're fighting to optimize your layout as your items get more and more complex and numerous with each round.
The art style and sound design deserve a lot of praise as well.
Addicting and crunchy game with both excellent mechanical and strategic depth, comparable to a deckbuilding roguelike in PvP form.
This was a while ago, as the last backpack-bender I indulged in was exclusively unranked to try to enjoy some of the new items and characters, so it may have improved since then.
works great on a steam deck to boot!

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
