The shooting still isn't amazing even then, but it definitely improves later and gives the game an almost Metroid feel to weapon progression.

I played on Veteran difficulty and had a pretty easy time most of the game, mostly because you end up with so many supplies that you can heal pretty much constantly.

The only positive things I can really say are that I like the addition of achievements, and this is probably the best way to play the game on Steam Deck because it does have optimized controller controls.
