What players think

Set in a beautifully crafted world filled with forests, mountains, and dungeons, Bearnard invites players to explore its diverse landscapes while engaging in clever and challenging combat encounters.
An engaging and interesting combination of a 2d turn-based game and a card game with enjoyable gameplay.
There is even a little bit of a story to follow (some dialogues and notes to find) and the comments of the main protagonist, Bearnard after a won fight are sometimes priceless.
Graphics are pleasant, rather raw, without artistic fireworks, presentation is quite intuitive.
I play the game on Steam Deck OLED and it works and looks perfectly there.
Accompanying the gameplay is a fitting soundtrack that complements the mood, ranging from energetic tunes during battles to more atmospheric pieces during exploration, further enhancing immersion.

Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
