The best way to enjoy Axis Football is to set your align your expectations, and also probably be slightly more in love with the simulation side of things than the gameplay side.
The graphics are excellent, the game play is great fun.
Pros: - Works well on Steam Deck , despite it saying only partial controller support.
It has a console-like UI similar to Madden, as opposed to spreadsheet style UI like football manager, which means it works well on steam deck.
